When accessing the site, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data (including IP address, time of access, page accessed) in order to deliver the page. This data is not merged with other data sources. In addition, for statistical purposes (visitor counts) we record a hash value derived from your IP address per calendar day (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in traffic analysis). Your actual IP address cannot be reconstructed from this hash; it is not linked to your user account.
When logging in, we set a technically necessary session cookie to keep you logged in during your visit (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). It is deleted upon logout or expiry and serves exclusively to operate the login area, not for analytics or tracking.
During registration we store your email address, DJ nickname, and an encrypted password. This data is required to manage your account and associate uploaded tracks (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your DJ nickname is displayed publicly next to your uploads, your real name is not.
When uploading a track, we store the audio file, associated metadata (title, genre, description), and the link to your user account (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Download and play counts are recorded pseudonymously per track.
If you take out a paid subscription, payment is processed through our payment provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.). Your payment data (e.g. card details) is processed directly by Stripe and does not reach our servers. We only receive subscription status information from Stripe (active, cancelled, payment failed). Processing occurs for contract fulfillment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). This may involve data transfer to the USA; Stripe is certified under EU Standard Contractual Clauses. More info: stripe.com/de/privacy.
Data collected via the contact form (name, email, category, message) is processed exclusively to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). To protect against automated abuse, the IP address of the request is also stored.
This site uses technically necessary cookies (session and CSRF protection cookie) required to operate the login area. Under § 25(2) TTDSG (German law), no consent is required for such cookies, which is why we do not display a cookie banner.
When completing a subscription, the site redirects you to Stripe's checkout page; Stripe may set its own payment-related cookies there. We do not use any marketing or tracking cookies; the anonymized visitor statistics described above are collected server-side without cookies.
Your data is only shared with our payment provider Stripe (see above) to process subscription payments, or when we are legally obligated to do so or you have explicitly consented.
We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose, or until you request deletion. Contact data is deleted after the request has been handled, unless a legal retention obligation applies. Uploaded tracks and account data remain stored until your account is deleted.
